October is the month of Halloween! It is now a fun festival in Japan although it was originally a religious custom in European countries. You might see the sweets and snacks in the Halloween packages and lots of Halloween decorations in one-coin shops. Some smartphone apps will make you wear some Halloween makeup or even enjoy costumes, so why don’t you try them and enjoy the Halloween festivities?

Foreign residents studying Japanese language in the Fukuoka metropolitan area will give speeches in Japanese about their experiences in Fukuoka and Japan or about their future dreams. 4) Foreign Student Lecture Series “My Hometown and Fukuoka”
This is a monthly lecture series in which a foreign student residing and studying in Fukuoka is invited to share information about his/her hometown and culture. Through this series, we can learn about the student’s lifestyle, goals while in Fukuoka and vision for the future.

1) Fukuoka City COVID-19 Vaccination Program
The Fukuoka City website offers information on the COVID-19 vaccination program such as:
how to book your vaccination, vaccination sites (mass vaccination centers, and regional clinics and hospitals), vaccinations for residents aged 12 to 15, requesting a new vaccination ticket when you move-in to Fukuoka City, applying for a Certificate of Vaccination for COVID-19, and more.
Please keep your vaccination ticket safe as you will need it when you make an appointment for the vaccination and when you get the vaccination at the vaccination site.

2) Fukuoka Prize 2021
Fukuoka Prize honors outstanding achievements by individuals or groups who contribute to the academic researches in Asian culture, arts and cultures in Asia.
The Prize’s official events will be held through online streaming for the first time (limited release). Please apply in advance to participate in these events as they are free admission.

4) The 13th Asian-Pacific City Summit Special Edition
The Asian-Pacific City Summit is a momentous conference where city leaders from the Asia-Pacific region participate to discuss various problems cities are facing. This year, the Summit will be held in a fully online format on 26 and 27 October, and will have discussions on leading a new urban development in the Asia-Pacific region in the COVID-19 Era. The Summit has been open only to conference participants, but this year’s online Summit will be broadcast on the website and open to anyone who is interested. 4)第13回アジア太平洋都市サミット特別版
アジア太平洋都市サミットは、アジア太平洋地域の諸都市の首長が参加して、都市が抱える様々な問題について話し合う重要な会議です。今年は、10月26日、27日にオンラインで開催し、コロナ禍におけるアジア太平洋地域の新たなまちづくりを主導する議論を行います。初めてのオンライン開催となり、会議参加者以外は見ることが出来なかった都市サミットを、どなたでもホームページで見ることが出来るようになります。この機会にぜひご覧いただき、皆さんに都市問題について知ってもらうきっかけとなればと考えています。

7) 福岡県外国人材受入企業講習会
平成31年4月の改正入管法の施行等、外国人材受入れに係る制度の整備に伴い、本県でも外国人材の受入れを希望する企業の増加が見込まれます。一方、外国人材の受入れに際しては、在留資格や労働関係法令等、事業主には理解・遵守すべき多くの法令があります。そのため、県では、外国人労働者が在留資格の範囲内でその能力を十分に発揮し適正に就労できるように、県内企業を対象に、窓口での相談対応や、講習会を実施します。ご利用はすべて無料ですので、ぜひご利用ください。

福岡県中小企業診断士協会海外ビジネス研究会（以下「研究会」）は経営コンサルタントの国家資格である中小企業診断士の団体です。国、県、市の中小企業行政と協力しながら、企業の経営、運営の手助けをしています。
