We Had a Successful 23rd International Japanese Speech Contest!
We held “the 23rd International Japanese Speech Contest” on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, in the Science Hall at the Fukuoka City Science Museum. In the contest, 13 international residents studying Japanese at language schools or volunteer-run classrooms in Fukuoka City and the surrounding regions spoke on their various experiences, using the Japanese they have been working so hard on. All of the contestants delivered wonderful speeches, and the auditorium was enveloped in thunderous applause. A live recording of the event is available for viewing for a limited time!
