On Sunday, November 30th, 2025, we partnered with JICA Kyushu to hold our “Different Languages, New Experience! Let’s Draw Our World Together!” Children’s Multicultural Workshop. After an introduction to JICA Kyushu’s activities, the children got to know each other with an icebreaker   game. From there, the children worked together to figure out the instructions given in different languages, and one by one, completed their own winter picture. Even though not everyone spoke the same language, they strove to understand each other’s ideas. The room overflowed with the children’s smiles and reverberated with the sound of happy voices, each speaking their mother tongue. We received many enthusiastic responses from the children, including “I got to learn a lot of different things that I don’t learn in school”, “Even though people may come from the same country, everyone is different, so it’s important to respect each person”, and “I got to meet people from many different countries”.
